Matthew Benjamin Canada is a Cinematographer who cut his teeth on music videos for rising Brooklyn bands, hip hop, and DJ stars where creativity has no boundaries. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, transitioning to high stakes commercials with national brands was an organic progression. And for the last few years now, Canada has been coalescing science and art, in his words, "the greatest form of story-telling": movies.
Part of the new wave of digital cinematographers, Canada utilizes 3D pre-visualization, painterly lenses on detailed-rich cameras, classic lighting with innovative instruments, and has a color-minded eye for bringing out the best image in serving the story.
